The Quotes Screen

The Quotes screen shows (unsurprisingly!) the virtually random quote, plus the author and the dates that they lived.
Tapping the Categories button will return you to the eight Categories. The Next button will generate a new quote. Note that, as you move from one quote to another you may customize the transition effect.
